After very succesful 2012 4X Pro Tour season 2013 kicked off last weekend in Poland with 4X Pro Tour opener! First race is always full of expectations and thats what makes this race really unique. At the very beggining it seemed like weather is going against us - again, but at the end after cancelling friday training the sun came out on saturday morning and it was just such a good vibes to all.

The track was ready and well prepared so as riders were! The fastest qualifier was Tomas Slavik, overall winner of 2012 4X Pro Tour. But it was just a start.

Under the lights with massive crowd show began! Riders were going fast, elbow to elbow, crowd was going crazy! In the final it was Slavik standing against Beaumont (GBR), Derbier (FRA) and Prokop out of Czech Republic. Slavik was fastest out of the gate, Beaumont and Prokop were chasing him, but at the bottom of the track Slavik dissapeared and took a big win! He was the only one who managed to jump the pro line and took well deserved 1st place.

"First race of world series is always a bit hard, because you never know what to expect from the other guys after the winter training. Especially when the track is so physical as it always is in Poland. We had some hard showers a few days ago and track suffered a lot but big props to organisers that they were able to hold it together and make such a cool event.

There was a massive crowd and great atmosphere at a race day. I had very good gates, felt quick on the track and at the end I took a big win with jumping the pro line. I'm really exhausted after this race, but satisfied with my performance."
